Mentors

JOELLE MAE DAVID. I was selected to join an exclusive mentoring scheme by Dreaming Whilst Black, Queenie director and CEO of Bluebird Pictures where I received guidance on starting a production company, budgeting, writing treatments and project support. I then went on to join her team as a young trustee and fed back on projects that had been sent to her. 

MARNIE DICKENS. I was matched up with Marnie- writer of Ripper Street, The Musketeers, Thirteen (RTS Television Award Nominee)  and  more  for a 6 month mentoring scheme which we have continued informally. Marnie gave me advice and notes on scripts I was writing, advice on starting as a writer in the industry, goal setting and networking. Marnie has been an amazing support and sounding board for my many questions and queries about how it all works in the TV/ Film industry. Reference below. 

SOPHIA RASHID. I participated in a three month mentorship with HEMTV exec Sophia Rashid in collaboration with Hat Trick Productions. Sophia afforded me incredible industry insight, support with updating my CV, application advice and more.
